How to Make the Law of Attraction Work for You in 5 Steps

When it comes to the Law of Attraction you either believe it or you don’t. There is a third side to this equation, maybe you’ve never heard of it before. Regardless of which side of the triangle you are on, I’m going to take you on a little journey detailing how you can make the Law of Attraction (LOA) work for you.

To start, what is LOA? It is simply the ability to attract whatever you want in or for your life by focusing on it. Of course, it sounds super simple, but there are lots of nuances that accompany it that can either make or break what you are attracting to yourself. Every day we have tens of thousands of thoughts. And those are just the subconscious ones. There are also thousands of conscious thoughts that run through our mind. Out of all these thoughts tripping and dancing in and out of our craniums, far too many of them are negative.

Step 1

If you find that most of your conscious thoughts are negative, then you are not likely to be using LOA to its fullest potential, if at all. Your first order of business is to shift your way of thinking. You want to be more aware of your thoughts so that you can insert as many positive thoughts as possible. We have to undo our negative thought patterns and create and embed new positive thought patterns.

Step 2

Start a breathing, meditation or mindfulness routine. Every day make sure you take some time out to be quiet and breathe from the belly, diaphragmatic breathing it’s called. This type of breathing brings about true calm by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system. And meditation can quiet the thoughts running through your mind and allow you to pay attention to the thoughts that are running through your mind.

Step 3

Keep a journal where you log your goals and your gratitude. Being grateful puts us in a good mood and it allows us to see all the good things that are around us and happening in our lives. It’s a real vibration booster. And writing out your goals helps you to pinpoint what you really want. It gives you something concrete since it hasn’t happened yet. And most importantly it helps you to become clear about what you want so that you can start to make steps towards achieving those goals.

Step 4

Now that you’ve written down your goals, it’s time to start attracting. Begin to visualize or imagine what your life will be like once your goals manifest. Think about it every day until it is thoroughly embedded in your subconscious. And behave like you are all those things you want to be and that you have all the things you want to have.

Step 5

DO. This part is crucial to the process. You have to accept the opportunities that are going to move you toward your goals. You have to be proactive when it comes to making your dreams come true. If certain training or education is needed for you to get where you want to be, start looking into ways you can get what you need in order to get there. The LOA definitely needs some conscious action to accompany your subconscious and conscious thoughts.

Be aware that what you put out is what will come back, so be mindful of your thoughts, actions, and intentions. Of course, things will happen that put us in a not so great frame of mind, it’s only natural. But increasing our positive flow will do wonders. Start small and be as consistent as you can, and watch the results start to come.
